Banana Orange Cake

Ingredients :

1) 8 ozs. self raising flour, sifted with 3/4 teaspoon bicarbonates of soda
2) 6 ozs sugar
3) 6 ozs butter
4) 4 eggs
5) 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (the kind with green skin)
6) 3 tablespoon fresh orange juice

Methods :

Cream butter and sugar till light. add egg yolks, one at a time , and continue beating. then add mashed banana. beat well . fold in the egg whites which have whisked to a stiff froth. Fold in the flour, and last of all the orange juice.

bake in greased cake tin for about an hour. (350F)
